Location: India, Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Design and help implement data engineering projects
- Work with customer stakeholders, engineers, developers and other business stakeholders to analyze business requirements to technical solutions, deliver
- Complete all assigned tasks/projects adhering to timelines and meeting all deadlines.
- Prepare technical documentation and operational guidelines and perform handover to operation teams.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical amp; Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to learn more about new languages and frameworks
- Creative and innovative problem-solving skills
- Customer focus, Great team player, solution-oriented attitude and analytical mindset
- Advanced level of English
- Residence in India and eager to work remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Hands-on Google Cloud experience
- Must: BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer
- Good to have: Dataprep, Dataform, Datacatalog
- Consultative skills to handle ambiguity
- Good to have: Consultant experience
- Data modeling, data architecture, data analysis experience on DWH, Data Lakes
- Analysis and Integration of data resources according to data mappings.
- Ability to gather and process raw data at scale (including writing Python scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, writing SQL queries, etc.)
- Architect and design extensions to the data warehouse, data marts, and data integrations to support BI projects
- Keep management apprised of trends, best practices, and issues related to business intelligence, data warehousing, data lakes and associated emerging technologies.
