Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.
- Writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing including performance and Identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting defects in the product.
- Collaborating with developers to resolve defects and ensure that the software meets quality standards.
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on software design and implementation.
- Keeping up-to-date with new testing techniques, technologies, and tools, and recommending improvements to the testing process.
- Conducting regular ramp up sessions within the SDET team on latest tools and technologies to keep juniors in the team up to date on testing/technology trends.
Requirements
- Strong Experience in Python, web services, HTML, XML, and experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience in designing and building scalable automated test frameworks and test suites, working across technologies and Analyzing the logs for failures and resolving in the shortest time.
- Experience in optimizing application performance and troubleshooting runtime issues along with Participation in architectural and design discussions and ownership of project deliverables.
- Strong experience in Agile development methodologies and utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, and PowerMock for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
- Experience in manual testing, analyzing test logs, creating test reports and keeping the manager updated on the progress on a regular basis.
- Experience with Open Source Performance Testing Tools like Locust or JMeter. Also, experience with Golang, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in automating Android and IOS supported applications using Appium is a Plus.
- Streaming Media Industry Experience or Server Side Ad Insertion industry experience is desired
