Role Overview
The Associate Group Product Manager owns the strategic, commercial and operational activities within their portfolio. They should actively strive to position Packt as the premier provider of developer learning and oversee the management of market research, operations , acquisition, production and publishing within their category area.
You will be accountable for the strength of your category pipeline, unit sales and overall quality of titles produced. As Associate Group Product Manager you will maintain the day to day control of priorities, including sign-off on commissioning ideas (which will be driven by market demands and developer requirements), author acceptance, production edits, and ultimately book publishing.
You will be highly accomplished at managing key deliverables and resources of a multi skilled team, situated globally. You will prepare and implement strategic and operational plans and monitor progress to ensure the team attains its mission and objectives as smoothly and successfully as possible.
