Job Description

Our Mission

We're building a category-defining company to increase the speed of innovation in higher education. Woolf's mission is to increase access to world-class higher education and ensure that it is globally recognized and transferable. We help qualified education organizations launch world-class higher education programs that issue academic credits and globally recognized accredited degrees.

Woolf University is a collegiate higher education institution modeled on the University of Oxford and Delhi University. We are the first global collegiate university to allow other education organizations to join as member colleges and issue degrees. Our colleges include some of the fastest growing EdTech companies in the world: UpGrad, Scaler, GoIT, EduBridge, AlmaBetter, and others. We have a pipeline of further prospects in India, where we continue to grow.

Our Team

We are a globally distributed, fully remote team with a bias for action. Our team is mission-aligned, high EQ/low ego, and committed to excellence. Our investor group includes First Round Capital (who also led the investment for Notion, Roblox, Uber, and Square), Connect Ventures, IOVC, All Access Fund, and Tribe Capital.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented individual based out of India to join our team as a Growth Marketing Manager. You will be the first B2C marketing hire, and you will be ready to set up systems from scratch. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in student acquisition, brand development, and shaping Woolf’s value-add into a compelling narrative. Working closely with the executive team and other stakeholders, you will strategize and execute multiple growth marketing initiatives to guide prospective students to the best degree.

The ideal Growth Marketing Manager has a proven track record of lead management, optimizing marketing funnels, and building brand equity. You must be both a self-starter with an entrepreneurial flair and a team player willing to roll up your sleeves, with a philosophy that "no task is too big or too small." This role requires flexibility, technical acumen, resourcefulness, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. B2C Marketing funnels. You will design and set up user journeys across multiple tools, landing pages, channel partnerships, and email campaigns. You will drive outcomes, but receive support from other team members on graphic design and messaging.
  2. B2C Marketing Operations. You will know how to handle attribution, UTM links, WhatsApp, and email campaigns. You will own Leadsquared, our CRM, and make it the source of truth. You will receive support from our sales ops team for tool management, but you will drive all the processes and will be self-sufficient as needed. You will oversee, with support from sales ops and the tech team, our data enrichment process and lead segmentation.
  3. B2C Customer Acquisition. You will design and manage paid advertising campaigns especially retargeting campaigns.
  4. B2B Marketing support. You will support existing B2B marketing efforts, especially those that raise brand awareness. This will include ABM on Linkedin, and social media posting for announcements, and PR.
  5. Data Analysis. You will utilize tools like Google Analytics and SQL, as well as define KPIs, to measure the effectiveness of your campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years experience in B2C digital growth marketing, EdTech a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in using ad managers, specifically retargeting / re-marketing (e.g., Adroll.com, Google Remarketing)
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, SQL data analysis, and CRM software (e.g., Leadsquared, SFDC, Hubspot)
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing, funnel analysis, and ROI tracking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Technically savvy
  • Highly organized
  • High EQ

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience or demonstrated passion for higher education/edtech
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to new circumstances
  • Passion for Woolf’s mission, vision, and embodiment of our core values
  • Experience working remotely

Benefits

  • Smart, talented team
  • Flexible PTO and working hours
  • New-hire stipend for your WFH setup
