Position Summary

As the Product Owner for API Support at TripStack, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support and optimization ofAPIconnections delivered into production. You will report to the Sr. Product Manager (API) and work with stakeholders, clients and scrum teams to ensure all integrations meet quality and production up-time standards and that highly optimized content is being delivered to OTA clients.

Responsibilities

  • Establish product requirements, set priorities and user expectations with scrum teams
  • Attend all agile ceremonies as the product API Support SME
  • Complete first level investigations of customer requests and internal queries opened through JIRA service desk, adhering to predefined SLAs
  • Open, follow-up and resolve airline related queries using 3rd party ticketing systems
  • Translate requirements into well articulated EPICs and stories for technical teams
  • Determine acceptance criteria and work with QA to build test cases
  • Own KPI monitoring and reporting:, bookability, profitability and uptime
  • Keep technical teams accountable towards delivery targets
  • Report on team output and continuously optimize processes to ensure optimal productivity
  • Forge strong relationships with clients, airlines and consolidator partners attending regular check-in meetings with a focus of growing collective partnerships
  • Document and continually optimize API incident management processes
  • Find unique ways to optimize API content to increase sales and revenue
  • Monitor traffic/sales received from clients always questioning deviations or discrepancies


Requirements

  • 4+ years of well-rounded product experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science [preferred]
  • Travel industry experience in flights [an asset]
  • Strategic thinker with critical decision making skills
  • Output and delivery driven; experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role with significant context switching
  • Resilience and ability to work with a level of ambiguity
  • Passion for problem solving, outside-of-the-box-thinking and root cause analysis
  • Leadership skills - ability to bring teams together for a common purpose
  • The ability to dig in deep finding balance between user needs and business goals while questioning and validating assumptions along the way
  • Strong experience in data-backed decision making
  • Project Management experience [an asset]
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Highly accountable
  • Team player
