Responsibilities:
As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be responsible for ensuring products meet the business requirements.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyzing and disintegrating software systems and coordinating with other teams to enhance the overall design.
- Design, implement, maintain, and perform test automation frameworks using proven techniques and tools on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop.
- Excellent testing skills including test planning, creating test cases and even manual testing if required and drive improved test coverage across the entire product.
- Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
- Should be able to integrate with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Hudson, Go etc.
- Work with developers to troubleshoot product issues, determine root causes, and identify solutions
Requirements
- Overall 3-5 years of experience.
- Strong experience in manual testing, black box testing, TestNG, and Selenium
- Experience in API testing using JUnit, Postman and related tools
- Strong knowledge of Java/Golang. Experience in software development with Java, Golang, or Python.
- Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools.
- Familiar with MySQL, MongoDB and other relational/NoSQL databases
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.
