As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services on a global scale. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive procurement initiatives that align with the organization's overall business objectives. Your role will involve overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, optimizing the supply chain, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and enhance supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop sourcing plans that support their needs.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships based on quality, cost, and delivery considerations.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, best practices, and potential risks or opportunities in the global supply chain.
- Monitor supplier performance, manage supplier relationships, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies.
- Optimize inventory levels, lead times, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while minimizing costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Implement and utilize procurement systems and tools to streamline processes, enhance data visibility, and facilitate accurate reporting and analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement activities.
- Mentor and provide guidance to the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field. A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven 10+ years’ experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
- Experience in manufacturing industry is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier management, and global supply chain management.
- Proficiency in using procurement systems and tools, such as ERP and e-procurement platforms.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to develop and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Solid understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in procurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
