Pollen Tech Pte Ltd is seeking a Front-end Developer - QA to join their team. In this role, you will work on developing and testing the user interface for Pollen Tech's platform as well as ensuring that the platform meets the needs of its users. - Develop and maintain the user interface for Pollen Tech's platform
- Ensure the platform is user-friendly and user-focused
- Collaborate with the back-end development team to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end
- Identify and resolve issues with the platform's performance and accessibility
- Test the platform for usability and functionality across various devices and browsers
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure all functions of the platform are working as intended
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to implement new technologies and processes that enhance the platform's performance and user experience
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging process results
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements
- At least 1-3+ years of manual and automation testing standards from GUI
- At least 1-3+ years of experience building and developing amazing technology platforms in eg: digital products, e-commerce, payments, fintech, supply-chain management with global reach (B2B SaaS preferred)
- Used similar tools like Selenium, where it required to do scripting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, or a related field
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js or similar frameworks
- Experience with Git and Github
- Knowledgeable in Web amp; Web-app testing
- Knowledgeable in Cypress(Html, CSS, JS)
- Knowledge of UX design principles and user-centered design methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot even the most minor issues
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively with other departments within the company.
