As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for designing and merchandising exquisite jewelry that meets the taste and preference of our clients. You will be working in a dynamic environment with experienced professionals who are passionate about their work.
Your exceptional design skills, creativity, knowledge of market trends, and ability to conceptualize new ideas and products will enable you to succeed in this role. You will be responsible for conceptualizing designs, creating sketches, models, and samples, and presenting them to the management team and clients. You will also be responsible for evaluating customer feedback and making the necessary changes to improve the quality of our products.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing new collections and one-of-a-kind pieces that fit the brand's aesthetic and meet the needs of the market
- Creating and presenting jewelry designs, sketches, models, and samples to the management team and clients
- Collaborating with the production team to ensure high-quality products that meet the design specifications
- Identifying trends and opportunities in the market and translating them into new designs and products.
- Managing product development timelines and ensuring they meet project milestones.
- Conducting research and analysis on market trends, competition, customer needs, and preferences to inform product development.
- Maintaining clear and concise design documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Jewelry Design, or related field.
- Proven experience as a jewelry designer and merchandiser in a luxury goods and jewelry industry.
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD), Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design software.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and create unique designs and products
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about luxury goods and jewelry design.
