Purpose:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, auditing financial records, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Able to work effectively with other members of the accounting team and with senior management.
a). Key Performance Areas:
Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow
statements
Reconcile accounts and ensure that financial records are accurate
Audit financial records and identify potential problems
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Comply with accounting regulations
Manage accounting staff
b). Skills
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Knowledge of Tally Prime and other related accounting software is must.
