• Design, develop, and maintain databases for the company's clearing and settlement platform.
• Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to ensure seamless integration of databases and systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues related to the database and propose effective solutions.
• Optimize database performance through effective indexing, partitioning, and query analysis.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries, database design specifications, and system manuals.
• Plan and execute database backup and recovery procedures.
• Participate in the testing and quality assurance of software releases related to the database.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with database development principles and practices, including SQL, stored procedures, and database administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and stay current with emerging technologies.
• Experience with database management systems, such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB, is an asset.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and version control systems is an asset.
