Job Summary
The Marketing Director is responsible for the overall development and execution of marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives, encompassing brand positioning, lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, performance management, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and customer experience across all marketing channels
- Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with target audience needs and marketing goals, overseeing the creation of compelling and engaging content across various platforms
- Drive digital marketing efforts, including search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, social media campaigns, and website optimisation, to generate website traffic and high-quality leads
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute lead generation programs, leveraging various marketing channels and tactics to generate a steady flow of qualified leads
- Utilise data-driven insights to measure and analyse marketing campaign performance, website analytics, lead conversion rates, and customer behaviour, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimisation
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer success, to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall business objectives and support revenue growth
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, monitoring expenses, allocating resources, and optimizing spend to maximize return on investment (ROI)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 12 years of experience in marketing for a SaaS company, with 5 yrs experience in managing cross functional marketing teams
- Proven experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the SaaS industry for US market
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, tactics, and trends, with a track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies
- Experience leading and managing a team, fostering collaboration, and driving team performance
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC advertising, email marketing, social media, and website optimisation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong business acumen and a customer-centric mindset
- Proficiency in using marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making and measure marketing performance
- Willing to work 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM IST
- Willing to work from home, full-time
