We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing process and ensure efficiency and quality in the production of our non-lithium based quick charging batteries. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and ensure optimization of production processes to minimize production downtime and maximize equipment utilization.
- Manage overall production performance, including quality control and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing quality standards and procedures to ensure that products meet our specifications and exceed customer expectations.
- Manage day-to-day operations of production, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to production schedules and deadlines.
- Develop and manage budgets, controlling production costs and ensuring budget targets are achieved.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to identify and resolve production issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and environmental standards by properly managing hazardous materials, waste management and hazardous waste disposal.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in production and/or manufacturing management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with an acute attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations for equipment and processes in a manufacturing environment.
