Job Description

  • Leading a team of 4 people to overview the Trade receivables of the whole group, with clients from all over the world. Thus, the candidate must be able to lead the team and provide guidance independently.
  • Working closely with Accounts Management and General Ledger teams, the teams locate in all regions and thus excellent communication (written and verbal) skill is a must and can handle enquires from internal departments and external clients in a professional way.
  • Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
  • Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
  • Processing and recording transactions.
  • Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
  • Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
  • Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.
  • Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
  • Generating reports and statements for internal use.
  • Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
  • Other ad hoc projects as requested.


Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience in this field with managerial experience
  • Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business or equivalent.
  • Able to self-motivate and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in client billing and accounting
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel functions
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills
  • Good sense of responsibility and responsiveness
