The job involves operating and managing the lighting and sound systems for live events, concerts, theatres, or other productions. Responsible for creating the desired atmosphere, mood, and effects through the use of lighting and sound equipment.

- Setup and Installation: Responsible for setting up and installing lighting and sound equipment for events. This includes assembling and positioning lighting fixtures, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, mixers, and other necessary equipment.
- Operation and Programming: Operate the lighting and sound consoles during performances or events. Control the timing, intensity, colors, and patterns of lighting fixtures using DMX (Digital Multiplex) protocols. Also adjust sound levels, equalization, and other audio settings to ensure optimal sound quality.
- Lighting Design: Work closely with event organizers, directors, or designers to create lighting designs that enhance the overall production. Consider the mood, theme, and desired effects and use their technical expertise to design lighting setups accordingly.
- Sound Mixing: Responsible for mixing and balancing audio sources during performances or events. Control volume levels, apply audio effects, adjust equalization, and ensure that all audio elements are synchronized and clear.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve technical issues related to lighting and sound equipment. Troubleshoot problems, perform routine maintenance tasks, and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly before and during events.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other technical staff, such as stage managers, directors, performers, and fellow technicians. Communicate effectively to understand the specific requirements of each event and coordinate the lighting and sound aspects accordingly.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all lighting and sound setups adhere to safety standards and regulations. Take necessary precautions to prevent electrical hazards, manage cables and connections properly, and maintain a safe working environment for themselves and others.
- Equipment Inventory and Management: Maintain an inventory of lighting and sound equipment, including cables, fixtures, lamps, speakers, and other accessories. Keep track of equipment usage, perform regular inspections, and coordinate repairs or replacements when needed.
- Adaptation and Innovation: Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in lighting and sound. Explore new equipment, techniques, and software to improve the quality and creativity of work.
- Documentation and Organization: May be responsible for documenting lighting and sound setups, including diagrams, cue sheets, and technical specifications. Keep records of past events and setups for future reference and maintain an organized workspace.

Requirements
- Must have minimum 5 Years of experience as DMX Lighting amp; Sound Technician.
- Must be fluent in English
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Salary: QAR2,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
