The Manager - Procurement Operations role requires someone with experience in procurement, inventory management, vendor management, and cost optimization. As a Manager - Procurement Operations, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse workforce to enhance organizational efficiency and gain valuable experience in an Information Technology and Services industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage and optimize the procurement process, including purchase requests, order placement, and inventory management, to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual terms and agreements and manage vendor relationships to ensure that they meet the company's standards for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Analyze market trends and conditions to identify cost-saving and value-adding opportunities for the company.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Finance, IT, Sales, and Operations, to ensure that procurement activities support the company's overall business objectives.
- Develop and report on key procurement performance metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory turns.
- Ensure that procurement activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a strong track record of achieving cost savings and process improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and working with vendors.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
