The RoundGlass Foundation is looking to hire a Community Development Associate for the Seattle Chapter of the RoundGlass Foundation (RGF). A Community Development's main responsibility is to mobilize support and resources for the Foundation through community organizing, both virtual and in-person. The Community Development will be the community liaison between RGF and that city, connecting the Foundation’s supporters and donors with the impact work being done in Punjab, India. The Community Development Associate will work in active coordination with the RoundGlass Foundation’s global team of talented, dedicated Changemakers with hubs in USA and India.Assist and work closely with donors to secure funds and built those relationships.
Organizational Overview: RoundGlass Foundation is the non-profit arm of the RoundGlass universe. RoundGlass Foundation (RGF) was created in 2018 to accelerate development in the under-served communities of Punjab by leveraging the power of partnerships and collective action. RGF's mission is to facilitate Wholistic Wellbeing in Punjab by addressing multiple gaps in underserved communities; we use systems thinking to create intersecting programs in environment, health, and education.We have embarked on an ambitious journey and are committed to transforming societies and benefitting generations. In five years, we have reached over 1,500 villages of Punjab. We aim to be in 2000 villages in less than six years of inception. A firm belief in our shared humanity drives our work.We work across four thematic areas: environment, education, youth sports, and women’s livelihoods. All of our programs are designed and implemented with the help of local communities and governments. Each impact area is addressed through the following programs:
Environment: waste management, reforestation, and regenerative farming
Education: LearnLabs (afterschool education for 6-8 grade students), health amp; hygiene workshops (in-school)
Youth sports: sports centers

The hourly range is $23-$27What you’ll do:
- Proactively identify pertinent opportunities, events, and platforms that can showcase the Foundation to relevant target groups and work with the Foundation team to leverage these for maximum impact
- Identify, attract, orient, and manage new chapter members while continuing to positively engage existing ones to support the Foundation’s mission in Punjab
- Work closely with Lead Chapter member and other peers to connect within communities
- Assist the Lead Chapter member to plan, organize, and evaluate (for improvement) Foundation’s quarterly chapter events in line with standard methodologies and timelines
- Collaborate with other Foundation teams across US and India and leverage them to showcase the Foundation’s impact to prospective ambassadors, volunteers, and funders
- Work with cross-functional teams to continually identify opportunities for the enrichment and augmentation of Chapters and other pertinent projects
- Ensuring detailed, timely, and accurate availability of relevant information and data pertaining to chapters and their members

- Adept at community building and outreach with a proven ability to quickly build trust and credibility with community members
- Willingness to reach out to new communities and showcase the Foundation’s impact on them
- Understanding and appreciation of the context we are working in the state of Punjab, and an intrinsic motivation to relate to and help advance our mission in Punjab
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and a penchant for trying out creative ideas and approach to attain desired goals
