Junior Accountant

Gegadyne Energy, a pioneer in non-lithium based quick charging battery technology, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Gegadyne Energy is a company on a mission to accelerate the world’s transition to an all-electric economy, and as a Junior Accountant, you will play an essential role in achieving this goal.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and reconciling accounts.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file various tax returns such as sales and use tax, property tax, and income tax.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for the management team and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Petty cash Accounts payable Verification of bills Bank reconciliation Internal audit Basic understanding of TDS working and payment, GST Employee reimbursement Basic MIS

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Piror experience in SAP is must
