What you’ll do:
- You will be responsible for the design and implementation of new features and consider performance and scalability
- You will debug existing code to resolve any maintenance issues that come through the support teams,
- You will be writing API calls which work with mobiles as well as with external clients
- You will be a technical expert in our bespoke software products and be able to think quickly on your feet
- You will have the opportunity to investigate new technologies and integrate them into the product as and when they are required.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of Back-End Development experience with a PHP framework like Symfony or Laravel (We expect some framework experience with ORM integration)
- Experience with writing APIs
- Experience querying MySQL database and performance tuning the Database
- Front-end development experience with AngularJS or Angular is a plus.
- An understanding of mobile app development
- You love taking ownership of a technical problem and driving the solution
- You’re helpful and friendly, with both external customers and your internal colleagues
- You have excellent communication skills and find it easy to collaborate with colleagues here and in other location
